What if a messy studio isn’t a sign of disorder, but a catalyst for creativity? In this episode, we explore Francis Bacon’s famously chaotic workspace and how it became an extension of his artistic process. Discover how clutter, chance, and creative disorder can spark new ideas, bring deeper meaning to your work, and help you finish what you start.
Incredible archival photos of the studio as it was at 7 Reece Mews by photographer Perry Ogden.
Great written interview of Bacon by Photographer Francis Giacobetti.

Correction:I mention in the podcast that "Bacon was not a trust fund baby." But in truth his mother was an heiress to a fortune from coal mining. But Bacon did not get that money. His relationship with his family was strained (it seems due to violence and anti- homosexual bigotry that he was on the receiving end of in childhood.) He may have received a small stipend from them, but not enough to live on. His early career was filled with debt.
